Peace Talks - Jim Butcher

Post by Publisher » Mon Jul 13, 2020 5:40 am

Tomorrow my copy of Peace Talks arrives.

Leave me alone while I enjoy my Whopper and glazed donut. Wednesday I'm getting the only decent steak sandwich in town and a Revolution beer. I might put a cheese Little Ceasars pizza out on the patio for Toot's friends.

And I'll know you're also a fan if you understand my menu choices.

So I am ready for "Peace Talks" :-) - but I don't get why people like beer so much :-p.
This may be the only multi-volume series I know which might get better with each book - in most others, at some point I always think the author should have known better than to continue writing that series...

It occurs to me - way too late :-p - that we could have set up a book club to talk about this as we were reading it
(assuming people had been willing to read in sections, rather than all in one sitting).
But I forget now the one incident that had wondering what it would mean, later ...
