Searching the internet and I came across a "study" that purported to be "an analysis of online networks for buyers of sex in Illinois". https://www.caase.org/wp-content/upload ... tHobby.pdf

It is an older (2013) read, but an interesting view of someone with from the outside trying to look in. Of course the information that they tried to obtain was from the USA Sex Guide (If I need to say more then you need to read more), which says a lot about the research they were supposidly trying to do. It will also tell you a lot about a study based on the sponsoring organization, CAASE (Chicago Alliance Against Sexual Exploitation) and the author, Authors Resume: https://sociology.uchicago.edu/sites/so ... ebsite.pdf.

Wanted to share some reading for those out there that are interested.

It quickly becomes clear that this whole study rests on the assumption that all women who do sex work are being trafficked. It is no wonder the researchers chose to use only USA Sex Guide as the basis for their research; in doing so they basically cherry picked their data to support the conclusion they had already arrived at.
