Mass Email Failure

Post by Publisher » Sun Feb 21, 2021 12:54 am

Ignore three emails you may have just received warning you about your access privileges coming to an end today - unless they just did.

The mass email program, instead of sending it to 16 people, sent it to every registered user.

The GOOD news is, it gave me a window into how many useless registrations there are on here. The BAD news is a couple of total jerkoffs decided to send a final love letter.

Well perhaps good riddance to them.

Like any customer service function, dumping dead weight overboard is frequently a required exercise.

Ooops, sorry I emailed you before seeing this, Captain. Anyway, it was good to be reminded I had not visited y'all here in so long.

No foul Cap'n, kind of a wake up call actually, as I had log on just to confirm that I had made a post. I really need to do a better job at participating.

I was a little confuzed .. I was like "Has it really been that long, I know I've been slacking, but a who year, dang the pandemic really shut me down more than I thought it did .. "
So yay, good wake up call to check in, and re-up, and look at posts I haven't seen yet.

I don't know; seems like a good thing when they out themselves.

We've been anticipating you brining some of the lovely lassies from the Great NW to GBN.

I hope you'll re-up, we miss you here. app.php/support-gbn

I had to go through hundreds of "Bad address" emails. I'm still not done.
