So they rescued a grand total of 5 people from being trafficked but charged no one with actual trafficking and think they need a full time 12 person squad devoted to this. I wonder if these people realize how ridiculous they sound making statements like that. Most of the LE resources expended on these efforts did nothing to alleviate trafficking.

All we see here is how much a failure the Nordic model is.

This is the key takeaway from this article.

Its important to be selective in who we see. The last thing I ever want is to get caught up in some sort of sex trafficking nightmare.

It's not just LE officers; it's spread throughout the legal and political systems. It's why we ended up with FOSTA/SESTA despite the obvious, gaping flaws in it.
