I may be hitting Columbus, I hope SOMEONE responds to this soon.

I just got home from seeing a Contractor in the Dayton area and there happens to be a strip club in close proximity of her REDACTED. Being an aficionado of the fun performing arts, I asked her about the place. She told me that the establishment violated the new law; therefore, the state will be shutting it down soon. So I asked her what law was violated. She stated that a dancer performed topless in "a public establishment", which is forbidden under the new law. She continued to state that dancers can continue to perform topless at private clubs (like the F.O.P. and lawmaker junkets for example!) and private parties.

Can I pull the NAZI card on Ohio...and Kentucky as well?

The State of Ohio sure knows how to kill the fun. The funny thing is, it was a progressive Democratic Gov Ted Strickland that signed the law.

There is a nice all nude club called Baby Dolls located north of Dayton in Medway. Very reasonable prices and the ladies are always very cute. It's a private club and membership is required to get around the ban on smoking in Ohio. We need signs at our borders that say "Welcome to Prude Central" instead of "Welcome to Ohio".

Private club get-arounds are fine. Most charge no more than a simple cover charge amount to let you in and the card is often good for more than one night. On the other hand-once you get in they can get an attitude about being some kind of exclusive and misunderstand their rank on the scale of clubs.

Just recently just started hitting the clubs in the NW Ohio area so not sure what the "new Law"is supposed to be. But most clubs i've been to are at least topless no pasities and some depending on the lady are fully nude. And have not been bothered that i can see. Matter of fact kinda wished i had found some of them earlier. Have found some really great mileage and a few of the clubs.

Update on the Toledo area clubs

Post by pinball » Tue Aug 13, 2013 10:01 am

Seems that from the info I'm hearing is that one to the Clubs got a major fine for not enforcing the new laws that were passed but being challenged a few years ago. Most of the clubs I've been to now are enforcing the the pasties law. Although that have not cracked down on the no contact provisions yet. At least at the couple clubs I've been to recently. Although YMMV at all the clubs. Extras from what i've experienced are much harder to find at get now in the clubs, but i've heard take can be had. I've not had a offer yet but have not been actively seeking either right now.

Updated A lot of the Strip up in the Toledo area are now enforcing the pastie law and some are not. Deja Vu in Toledo was raided back in summer 2016 or a variety of charges. Prostitution, drugs and promotion of prostitution among them. Also ticketed for illegal contact in a adult business because the lady did not have pasties on and the male she rubbed her boobies on was not a employee of the club or a family member. But as of my last visit a couple weeks ago it is pretty much business as usual. Although the club at times is still enforcing the no contact rule while out on the main club area(IE:no sitting on the customers lap or touching him). But some of the dancers have told me that sometimes depends on which manage is on duty and the night of the week.

I guess the police are taking a "hands off" mainly, until some crazed moralist pays the cover charge, goes inside, and reports.
