Hi everyone! I’m new to the board! When I saw a health and fitness board I couldn’t resist! I’m based in Las Vegas NV and the weather here is divine! Does anyone here like to hike! So many amazing trails here in Vegas. Especially the world famous Red Rock Canyon!! I love to hike! Just want to put it out there!

My hiking has become very limited unfortunately. I used backpack into the Shawnee National Forest for 3 and 5 day treks, with my dog.

I have been to Red Rock Canyon, about 25 years ago and 40 pounds lighter.

As often as possible. Closest to Vegas that I’ve hiked is in the Lake Tahoe area.

I've hiked in NV, NM, AZ, CA, ID.....all great spots and awesome trails....but have to say, now that I live in the St. Louis area there are some areas out away from the city that are petty under rated nationally. I am a fitness freak anyway, so I will try anything once.

Had an amazing walk today with an incredible view of the red rock mountains. I can’t upload my photo though! It’s been absolutely gorgeous here in Las Vegas!

Nice. Haven't been there, so I had to do a google search for some photos. Looks like a gorgeous area.
